Western Star Reports High-Grade Tungsten Assays Up to 4.02% WO3 at Nevada Properties

Western Star Resources announced rock-chip assays up to 4.02% WO3 at the Rowland Property and 3.00% WO3 at the White Star Project, confirming high-grade tungsten mineralization and supporting drill target generation.

Western Star Reports High-Grade Tungsten Assays Up to 4.02% WO3 at Nevada Properties

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 42K) has announced certified laboratory assay results from its inaugural programs at the Rowland Tungsten Property and the adjoining White Star Tungsten Project in Elko County, Nevada. The results highlight high-grade tungsten mineralization, with peak rock-chip assays of 4.02% WO3 at the Rowland Main workings and 3.00% WO3 at the White Star Batholith Mine.

At the Rowland Property, sampling across three zones of historical workings returned multiple high-grade results. At Rowland Main, 18 rock-chip, float, and channel samples included grades of 4.02%, 2.69%, 2.56%, 2.11%, and 1.25% WO3, with coincident elevated molybdenum (up to 110.5 ppm Mo), silver (6.82 g/t Ag), copper (0.4% Cu), and manganese (2.57% Mn). Northern Zone B yielded three samples ranging from 0.35% to 1.22% WO3, with silver up to 10.85 g/t Ag and copper up to 0.8% Cu. Northern Zone A returned 0.23% WO3 from a single sample.

At the White Star Project, two rock-chip samples were collected. Sample WS-16-02 returned 3.00% WO3 and 711 ppm Mo, while WS-16-01 returned 0.13% WO3. These results are consistent with historical production grades from the Batholith/Mission Cross Mine.

The company plans to integrate these results with completed UAV magnetic geophysical surveys and pending soil geochemistry to support drill target generation across the consolidated Jarbidge-Charleston tungsten footprint. Further soil sampling is ongoing, and updates will be provided as additional assays are received.

Quality assurance and quality control protocols were maintained, with samples analyzed by ALS Global in Reno, Nevada. The scientific and technical information has been reviewed by Jasper Mowatt, a Qualified Person under NI 43-101.
