Verizon, the Official Telecommunication Services Sponsor for FIFA World Cup 2026, announced its largest free ticket giveaway for Verizon customers to secure seats at the tournament. The company is debuting a new commercial featuring David Beckham, highlighting how Verizon provides "Ultimate Access" to the event.
According to Leslie Berland, Chief Marketing Officer at Verizon, the company is focused on giving customers access and experiences beyond expectations. This ticket drop, the biggest yet for the highly anticipated sporting event, will take place on June 1 at 3:00 PM ET. Over 2,500 free tickets across 64 matches will be available in every U.S. host city, with hundreds of "Golden Tickets" for pitchside access. Tickets are first-come, first-served through Verizon Access in the My Verizon app, and customers can only claim tickets to games within 150 miles of their home address, as travel and accommodation are not included.
Select match times and cities include Seattle, Los Angeles, and San Francisco at 12:00 PM PT; Kansas City, Dallas, and Houston at 2:00 PM CT; and Boston, Atlanta, New York New Jersey, Miami, and Philadelphia at 3:00 PM ET.
Verizon is also offering entertainment perks, including a special offer for new Home Internet customers: three months of FOX One on us. Existing myPlan customers can add FOX One as a monthly perk for $15/month, a savings of nearly $5 off the standard retail price. FOX One provides live and on-demand content of sports, news, and entertainment.
