Verizon and Samsung Launch Next-Gen Foldables with Simplified Plans and Up to $1,100 in Savings

Starting today, Verizon customers can preorder Samsung's latest foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, alongside the Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra2. The announcement marks a strategic move by Verizon to combine Samsung's cutting-edge folding technology with its newly simplified Simplicity Plan, which eliminates network tiers and offers flat-rate pricing.

The Galaxy Z Fold8, priced at $1,899.99, and the Z Fold8 Ultra at $2,099.99, are designed for high-performance productivity and immersive multitasking. Both devices are available for preorder in multiple colors, including Lavender, Graphite, and Cream. Verizon is promoting these devices as tools for busy routines, whether for work, streaming, or multitasking on expansive foldable screens.

Verizon's Simplicity Plan plays a central role in making these devices more affordable. New customers switching to the Simplicity Plan can get the Galaxy Z Fold8 for $60 per month over 48 months, with no trade-in required. This includes $460 in promotional credits and a $30 per month plan rate after discounts for auto-pay and number porting. Similarly, the Z Fold8 Ultra is available for $35 per month with $420 in credits over 48 months. Existing customers can upgrade and save up to $1,100 by trading in an eligible phone and switching to an Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plan on a 36-month payment plan.

Verizon is also offering the Ultimate Bundle: customers who buy a new Samsung phone on a payment plan or bring their own device with a new line can get a Galaxy Watch9 and a Galaxy Tab S10 FE at no additional hardware cost, with service lines starting at $15 per month. For those bringing their own Android phone, Verizon is offering the Galaxy Watch9 for free (with $430 in credits over 36 months) or the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 for as low as $8 per month.

Business customers can also benefit, with up to $900 off the Galaxy Z8 series when adding a new line or upgrading with a qualifying trade-in on the My Biz Plan. Additionally, Verizon is enhancing customer loyalty with a new program that offers cash back in Verizon Dollars every month, along with weekly rewards through Verizon Shine, which provides chances to win experiences, concert tickets, and merchandise.

For entertainment, customers who purchase a Galaxy Z Fold8 or Z Fold8 Ultra can get the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle (with ads) for six months free, then $10 per month. This offer is available with the Simplicity Plan or myPlan.

Preorders for the Galaxy Z Fold8, Z Fold8 Ultra, Galaxy Watch9, and Watch Ultra2 began July 22 at Verizon stores, verizon.com, and the My Verizon app. Full retail availability starts August 7.
