Venture X, a global provider of high-quality flexible workspaces, announced that multi-unit franchise owners Kevin and Geidre Priddy of Priddy Spaces have acquired four existing flexible workspaces in the Dallas-Fort Worth market and are converting them to the Venture X brand. The Priddys, who began developing their coworking portfolio with the acquisition of a Venture X in West Palm Beach, Florida in 2022, now operate seven Venture X and one Office Evolution location, with several more in active development.
The husband-and-wife team acquired the four Dallas-Fort Worth locations from Plano-based landlord Michael Comegys, who sought to partner with experienced flex workspace operators to help the spaces thrive. Formerly branded as CityCentral, the spaces are being converted to Venture X and will offer the brand's signature amenities and hospitality-centric member experience. The acquisition underscores the growing importance of flexible office space in corporate real estate strategy, particularly as hybrid work models become entrenched.
“When we were approached about converting these four spaces in Dallas-Fort Worth, we were very interested. We've been operating in Florida going on four years, and we've wanted to expand into other high-growth markets like this one,” said Kevin Priddy. “With the evolution of hybrid work and corporate real estate strategy in recent years, flex office space is a true asset to commercial landlords. Venture X as a brand already has a presence in DFW and we're excited to bring more solutions to the businesses and professionals that work here.”
The four locations being converted are: Venture X Downtown Fort Worth at 600 W. 6th St., Suite 400, Fort Worth, TX 76102 (22,530 square feet with 74 offices); Venture X Plano West at 6010 W. Spring Creek, Plano, TX 75024 (36,000 square feet with 103 offices); Venture X Plano East at 500 N. Central Expressway, Suite 500, Plano, TX 75074 (26,592 square feet with 92 offices); and Venture X Dallas-Addison at 17250 Dallas Parkway, Dallas, TX 75248 (approximately 40,000 square feet with 78 offices). Two locations are already open and operating as Venture X, while the other two are actively being converted.
With these additions, Venture X now has over a dozen locations in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, offering flexible, sophisticated workspaces for professionals and businesses of all sizes. The expansion signals the continued growth of the coworking industry, as companies increasingly seek flexible lease terms and managed office solutions.
Venture X, along with sister brands Office Evolution and Intelligent Office, is part of Vast Coworking Group, the largest privately owned franchisor of coworking spaces and second-largest network in North America by number of locations. Vast has over 200 locations globally, spanning 2.7 million square feet.
