VectorCertain Validates 100% Detection and Prevention of All Seven Anthropic Mythos Threat Vectors Across 7,000 Adversarial Scenarios

VectorCertain LLC today announced the results of its SecureAgent governance pipeline validation, demonstrating 100% detection and prevention across 7,000 adversarial scenarios aligned with all seven Anthropic Mythos threat vectors. The validation, conducted via Anthropic's Claude API with independently generated scenarios, showed zero false negatives and a 3-sigma lower bound of at least 99.65% detection and prevention rate at 99.7% confidence, using the Clopper-Pearson exact binomial method.

The announcement comes as Anthropic's Claude Mythos Preview, withheld from public release due to its advanced cybersecurity capabilities, has raised alarms across the industry. Anthropic reported that Mythos can autonomously discover, chain, and exploit software vulnerabilities at a level surpassing all but the most skilled humans. In draft materials, Anthropic warned that Mythos is "currently far ahead of any other AI model in cyber capabilities" and "presages an upcoming wave of models that can exploit vulnerabilities in ways that far outpace the efforts of defenders," as reported by Fortune.

VectorCertain's SecureAgent governance pipeline, which evaluates every AI agent action before execution, processed the 7,000 Mythos scenarios through a 44-rule pipeline in under 10 milliseconds per evaluation. The system achieved 100% recall across all seven threat vectors: Autonomous Multi-Step Exploitation (T1), Unsanctioned Scope Expansion (T2), Invisible Deceptive Reasoning (T3), Track-Covering Log Manipulation (T4), Credential Theft System Access (T5), Sandbox Escape Exploitation (T6), and Capability Proliferation (T7). The total false positive rate across all scenarios was 0.10% for hard blocks, with an additional 2.2% of benign operations escalated for human review.

The company's MYTHOS Cybersecurity Certification Program, which guarantees at least 99.0% recall across all seven threat vectors validated at 3-sigma confidence, fills what DARPA's AIQ program acknowledged as a void: "methods for guaranteeing AI performance do not exist today," as stated in the DARPA AIQ program announcement. VectorCertain's program offers three tiers, with service-credit guarantees if thresholds are not met.

This validation addresses the critical gap in Project Glasswing, Anthropic's initiative that provides Mythos Preview to over 50 technology organizations including CrowdStrike, Palo Alto Networks, and Microsoft. As noted by The Guardian, Glasswing focuses on vulnerability discovery and patching but lacks pre-execution governance to prevent attacks during the window between discovery and remediation. CrowdStrike CTO Elia Zaitsev warned that "the window between a vulnerability being discovered and being exploited by an adversary has collapsed - what once took months now happens in minutes with AI."

VectorCertain's results are independently supported by recent peer-reviewed research. A February 2026 survey on agentic AI security (arXiv:2510.23883) identified runtime safety enforcement as the critical missing defense layer, concluding that "explicit, sequence-level enforcement" of safety policies is required. SecureAgent's four-gate pipeline operationalizes this finding across 44 rules and 13 discrimination micro-models.

"Detection without prevention is an autopsy report. You're documenting the damage after the patient is dead. SecureAgent performs the surgery - it removes the threat before the damage occurs," said Joseph P. Conroy, Founder and CEO of VectorCertain LLC, in the press release.

With AI-specific attack losses projected to reach $15 billion in 2024 and global cybersecurity fraud consuming 7.7% of digital commerce revenue, VectorCertain plans to launch a Consumer Edition of SecureAgent as a Chrome browser extension within 60 days, bringing the same governance pipeline to individual users for $4.99 per month.
