Ucore Rare Metals Inc. (TSX.V: UCU) (OTCQX: UURAF) has voiced support for its partner Hastings Technology Metals, alongside Wyloo, in acquiring a fully permitted mixed rare earth chloride production facility in Thailand. The acquisition is anticipated to accelerate the near-term processing of monazite feedstock and strengthen a Western-aligned rare earth supply chain, according to the company.

Ucore stated that the development supports ongoing discussions toward a long-term supply agreement tied to its Louisiana Strategic Metals Complex (SMC). The company aims to integrate upstream supply with midstream processing and rare earth oxide production capabilities. The full press release can be accessed here.
