Trilogy Metals Named to 2026 TSX30 After 570% Share Price Surge

Trilogy Metals Inc. (NYSE American: TMQ) (TSX: TMQ) has been named to the 2026 TSX30, an annual ranking of the top-performing companies on the Toronto Stock Exchange over a three-year period based on dividend-adjusted share price appreciation. The company's share price increased 570% during the three years ended June 30, 2026. This recognition underscores growing investor confidence in Trilogy Metals and the strategic importance of its Arctic Project in northwestern Alaska to the American critical mineral supply chain.

President and CEO Tony Giardini said the recognition reflects investor confidence in Trilogy and the strategic importance of the Arctic Project to the American critical mineral supply chain. The TSX30 ranking is a notable achievement, as it identifies companies that have demonstrated exceptional growth and resilience. For Trilogy Metals, this honor not only validates its operational strategy but also highlights the increasing demand for critical minerals like copper, zinc, and cobalt, which are essential for renewable energy technologies, electric vehicles, and national security applications.

Trilogy Metals holds a 50 percent interest in Ambler Metals LLC, which owns 100 percent of the Upper Kobuk Mineral Projects (UKMP) in northwestern Alaska. The UKMP is located within the Ambler Mining District, one of the richest and most-prospective known copper-dominant districts in the world. It hosts polymetallic volcanogenic massive sulfide (VMS) deposits containing copper, zinc, lead, gold, and silver, as well as carbonate replacement deposits with high-grade copper and cobalt mineralization. Exploration has focused on the Arctic VMS deposit and the Bornite carbonate replacement deposit, both within a land package spanning approximately 190,929 hectares.

In December 2019, South32, a globally diversified mining and metals company, exercised its option to form a 50/50 joint venture with Trilogy Metals. This partnership brings significant financial and technical resources to the project. Additionally, Ambler Metals has an agreement with NANA Regional Corporation, Inc., an Alaska Native Corporation, providing a framework for exploration and potential development in cooperation with local communities. Trilogy Metals' vision is to develop the Ambler Mining District into a premier North American copper producer while protecting and respecting subsistence livelihoods.

The 570% share price increase and TSX30 recognition matter because they signal strong market validation of Trilogy Metals' assets and strategy. As the world transitions to a low-carbon economy, the demand for critical minerals is expected to surge, and projects like the Arctic Project could play a pivotal role in securing domestic supply chains for the United States. The inclusion in the TSX30 also enhances the company's visibility among investors, potentially attracting further capital to advance development. For stakeholders, this recognition may translate into increased liquidity and shareholder value, while also reinforcing the strategic importance of responsible resource development in Alaska.
