tonies SE, the globally leading interactive audio platform for children, today announced its mid-term ambition to more than double group revenue to greater than EUR 1.4 billion by fiscal year 2030 and achieve an adjusted EBITDA margin between 16-18% mid-term. The announcement came during the company's first-ever Capital Markets Day, where executives outlined a strategic roadmap focusing on building a multi-device ecosystem, international expansion, and profitable growth.
CEO Tobias Wann emphasized the company's global appeal and market opportunity, stating that three priorities will drive value: building an ecosystem that compounds value, leveraging global product-market fit, and extending reliable profitable growth. The company plans to continue global expansion with at least two additional market launches in 2027 and presence in all major regions of the world by 2030. CFO Hansjorg Müller highlighted the resilience of tonies' financial model, noting that the company has delivered on guidance every year since its IPO despite various challenges.
International expansion remains a key driver, with significant penetration headroom in existing markets. In the US, tonies serves only approximately 12% of target households compared to about 58% in DACH, and globally there are more than 570 million addressable households. The company has grown its points of sale by over 30% annually since 2019 to more than 25,000 worldwide. CRO Christoph Frehsee noted that each market launch strengthens data, operating playbook, and localization capabilities.
tonies also announced the launch of its Global Advisory Group, a panel of leading experts in childhood development, education, neuroscience, pediatrics, and family wellbeing. Founding members include Michael Levine, Chrissy Lawler, Dr. Ellen Wartella, Dr. Katharina Meier-Batrakow, and Meredith Halpern-Ranzer. CXO Ginny McCormick stated that the group reflects tonies' commitment to bringing expertise into everything they create.
The company's content portfolio now represents a large portion of the world's leading children's IPs, with recent launches including Hasbro flagship games on Tonieplay, Bluey on the Toniebox, and upcoming products from its collaboration with Pokémon. tonies aims to leverage AI to accelerate localization and compress development cycles. The company employs more than 630 people and achieved EUR 630 million in group revenue in fiscal year 2025, a 31% year-over-year increase.
