Paper Garden Records artists The Storm Windows have released the first single from their forthcoming live album, titled 'FIONA.' The song, described as a reflection on lost love and the open highway, was recorded live at Tank Studio in Burlington, Vermont, on November 1, 2025, before a sold-out audience. The trio—Rob Mathews on guitar and vocals, Don Mathews on upright bass and vocals, and Erik Anderson on drums—delivered the performance that now marks the band's debut on the PGRoots label.
'FIONA' is available now on streaming platforms, including YouTube and Spotify. The single offers a preview of the band's full live album, set for release on August 21, 2026. Fans attending live shows this summer may also have the chance to purchase vinyl copies of the album.
The audio production and mixing were handled by Ben Collett and Julia Rangel at Tank Recording Studios, while Drew Fahle directed the accompanying video. The release of 'FIONA' signals a new chapter for The Storm Windows, who have been described as purveyors of 'New Americana,' blending folk, rock, and jazz influences.
