Synbio International, Inc. (OTC: SYIN) has taken a significant step toward generating commercial revenue by entering into a strategic licensing, manufacturing, supply, and revenue sharing agreement with MD PHD Wellness, Inc. The deal grants Synbio exclusive rights to market MD PHD Wellness' proprietary nutraceutical formulations across the United States and Canada, marking a pivotal move in the company's strategy to build a diversified healthcare enterprise.
The agreement covers MD PHD Wellness' flagship anti-anxiety nutraceutical, which will be sold under Synbio's Healing Force™ brand. It also establishes a framework for evaluating and commercializing additional wellness products in the future. By leveraging MD PHD Wellness' expertise in product development and manufacturing, Synbio avoids the substantial time and cost associated with in-house formulation, thereby fast-tracking its entry into the lucrative nutraceutical market.
Under the terms, MD PHD Wellness will manage product development, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain, while Synbio will oversee branding, marketing, sales, and distribution. After recouping approved commercialization costs, the parties will share profits. This structure allows Synbio to focus on its core strengths: building brands and expanding market presence.
“This agreement represents a transformational milestone for Synbio,” said Claudio Solitario, CEO of Synbio International. “Rather than building a nutraceutical business product by product, we have established a strategic partnership that combines MD PHD’s product development and manufacturing expertise with Synbio’s commercialization capabilities. It gives Synbio immediate access to proprietary products capable of generating near-term commercial revenue while establishing a framework to expand our wellness portfolio over time, allowing management to focus on creating the greatest shareholder value - building brands, generating sales and expanding market presence.”
The partnership is backed by strong scientific leadership. MD PHD Wellness was co-founded by Dr. Robert Lawrence, a physician and scientist with Ph.D.s in Nuclear Physics and Biomedical Engineering, whose career has spanned medicine, biomedical engineering, and nutraceutical development. Dr. David Anderson, also a co-founder, is an experienced physician and researcher with expertise in nutraceuticals and scientific substantiation. He has contributed to the development of the licensed formulations and has been recognized for his professional achievements.
This licensing agreement aligns with Synbio's broader strategy of pairing near-term revenue from wellness products with longer-term value from its AI-driven mental health technologies. The company believes this dual-track approach offers multiple growth avenues and establishes recurring revenue to support ongoing innovation.
As the global nutraceutical market continues to expand rapidly, Synbio is positioning itself to capture a share through a portfolio of scientifically developed products. The company also continues to advance its AI-driven software that screens for mental health conditions using facial analysis, a technology with significant potential to improve healthcare delivery.
With this deal, Synbio is not only accelerating its path to revenue but also laying the groundwork for a sustainable business model that leverages both immediate commercial opportunities and future technological breakthroughs.
