Alexandra Dambeck has decided to step down from her role as Chief Financial Officer of Springer Nature and as a member of the Management Board to pursue a new external opportunity, the company announced on April 1, 2026. Her departure marks the end of a tenure that included guiding the company through its successful initial public offering.

Dambeck’s specific end date in the fourth quarter of 2026 will be confirmed in due course, and she will remain in her role until then. The process of selecting and appointing a successor is already underway, according to the announcement.
