Seven HKTDC Lifestyle and Licensing Mega Events to Open Next Week, Featuring New Reimagine Floor and IP and e-Commerce Support Services Zone

Seven annual lifestyle and licensing mega events organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) are set to open next week, running from April 27 to 30, 2026, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and AsiaWorld-Expo. The events include the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle, Fashion InStyle, Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong, Hong Kong International Licensing Show, and the Asian Licensing Conference. These concurrent fairs are expected to attract some 5,600 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions, including first-time participants from Finland, Germany, Iceland, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan.

This year, HKCEC Hall 5 has been transformed into a Reimagine themed floor, seamlessly connecting the innovative, design, and cultural creative elements of the Gifts & Premium Fair and Home InStyle. The floor features highlighted zones such as the Selection of ASEAN, The Bespoke Hub, the Hong Kong Smart Design Global Awards, Cultural and Creative Avenue, and the Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion. The Hong Kong Smart Design Global Awards, organized by the Hong Kong Exporters’ Association and sponsored by the Cultural and Creative Industries Development Agency (CCIDA), has been renamed this year to recognize Hong Kong's original design talent, with the grand finale held during the Gifts & Premium Fair.

In response to the growing silver market and demand for innovative materials, Home InStyle debuts a Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion, funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission, showcasing over 20 local exhibitors. The pavilion combines gerontech living products and innovative materials applied to homeware and home textiles. A thematic seminar co-organized with the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI) and the Hong Kong Q-Mark Council will explore the silver market through the introduction of the "Silver Q Mark" and certified gerontech living products.

Fashion InStyle highlights materials innovation through its NEXT@Fashion InStyle (NEXT) zone, sponsored by CCIDA. This year, the Philippines is the featured partner, with over 25 Philippine exhibitors showcasing local fashion materials. NEXT also brings together over 60 global exhibitors from Asia and Nordic countries, including Iceland, Finland, and Sweden. Han Chong, founder and creative director of Self-Portrait, returns as project ambassador, leading six local designer brands in cross-disciplinary design projects that explore cultural heritage, sustainability, and technology.

The Printing & Packaging Fair and DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong focus on smart technology and green packaging. New products include RFID and anti-counterfeiting packaging technologies, as well as plant-based and bio-based materials. The Green Printing & Packaging Solutions Zone returns to help buyers identify eco-friendly options. Seminars will cover AI, sustainability, and creative design, with representatives from FUJIFILM and BW Design Centre sharing insights on AI applications.

The Hong Kong International Licensing Show, now in its 23rd edition, brings together over 600 brands and IPs, including Bandai Namco, Doraemon, and LINE FRIENDS. For the first time, a dedicated "IP and e-Commerce Support Services" Zone introduces e-commerce platforms, KOLs, and marketing firms to help brands expand into online markets. The concurrent Asian Licensing Conference, themed "Connecting Creativity, Unlocking Licensing Power," features topics such as global licensing trends, the emotional economy, and VTubers.

All events adopt the EXHIBITION+ hybrid format, with AI-driven tools like Click2Match for business matching and a new SmartBot service for on-site product searches. Buyers can also use Scan2Match to scan exhibitors' QR codes for continued online discussions.
