SAF-HOLLAND Appoints Alexandre Charpiot as President EMEA

SAF-HOLLAND SE, a global leader in trailer and truck components, has announced the appointment of Alexandre Charpiot as President EMEA, effective September 1, 2026. Charpiot succeeds Christoph Gunter, who is leaving the company for a new leadership role outside the group. The move comes as SAF-HOLLAND continues to execute its drive2030 strategy, focusing on strengthening market positions and pursuing growth opportunities across its product portfolio.

Christoph Gunter, who has served as President EMEA for nearly seven years, played a pivotal role in shaping the region's development. He was responsible for the company's largest regional business and oversaw key initiatives including the successful integration of Haldex in the EMEA region and the expansion into strategically important markets. Alexander Geis, Chairman of the Management Board and CEO, expressed gratitude for Gunter's contributions, stating, 'Christoph Gunter has successfully led and further developed the EMEA region in recent years. On behalf of the entire management team, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to him for his trust and cooperation, and I wish him all the best and continued success.'

Alexandre Charpiot brings extensive experience from his tenure at SAF-HOLLAND since 2009. He has held various leadership roles in both the original equipment and aftermarket businesses, overseeing areas such as logistics, purchasing, and product management. Since 2022, as Vice President Sales OEM EMEA, he has led sales activities, managed European subsidiaries, and played a key role in integrating acquisitions including Haldex, Tecma, and Assali Stefen. His deep knowledge of the commercial vehicle industry and strong relationships with international customers position him well to continue the region's successful trajectory.

In his new role, Charpiot will align the EMEA region with the strategic goals of the drive2030 strategy, which emphasizes strengthening market position, optimizing operational performance, and pursuing growth opportunities. The appointment underscores SAF-HOLLAND's commitment to leadership continuity and strategic execution in its largest region.
