PNE Group Wins Tender for 22 MW Wind Farm in France

The PNE Group has been awarded a contract for the "Oinville-Saint-Liphard" wind farm in France, winning in a highly competitive tender round. The project, located in the Centre-Val de Loire region, comprises four wind turbines with a total capacity of 22 MW. It was selected among 39 awarded projects from a total of 144 bids representing an aggregate capacity of 2.38 GW in the eleventh tender under the PPE2 programme.

This success follows closely on the heels of the sale of the "Romescamps" wind farm, demonstrating the company's strong momentum in France. "We are very pleased that we were able to prevail in a highly competitive tender," said Roland Stanze, Chief Operating Officer of PNE AG. "This once again demonstrates the excellent work being done by our French team on the ground. Following the sale of the 'Romescamps' wind farm, this is the next success for us within just a few days in one of our most important core markets and once again confirms our strategy."

The tender round came after a nearly one-year pause following the July 2025 tender, in which PNE France successfully secured the "Chery" and "Romescamps" projects. The French government announced the relaunch of tenders in early April 2026, shortly after publishing the multiannual energy plan PPE3. The timing was crucial for PNE, as the "Oinville-Saint-Liphard" wind farm had received approval in May, just in time to submit for this tender. The approval process took only 15 months, underscoring the efficiency of the project development.

This milestone highlights the importance of France as a core market for the PNE Group, which operates internationally and is listed on the SDAX. For more than 30 years, PNE has been a leading project developer in onshore wind energy, focusing on wind and photovoltaic projects worldwide as well as power generation from its own wind farms. The company's portfolio covers all project planning phases, from site investigation to repowering, and it offers services for the entire life cycle of renewable energy plants, including battery storage solutions.
