The initiative emphasizes multi-country humanitarian coordination, structured allocation systems, cross-regional development frameworks, and long-term institutional sustainability. As part of this transition, approximately 4.2 million allocation units have been structured across participating regions, with continued development expected as the initiative advances into its next stage of international engagement.
Operation Bangladesh was originally established as the pilot phase of the broader Shaker Global Poverty Reduction Plan, a long-term humanitarian framework developed by Morad Shaker, a philanthropist based in Hawaii. The initiative operates in alignment with Shaker International Scholarship Programs (SISP), a nonprofit organization registered in the State of Wyoming (Entity ID: 2025-001826158). The original framework targeted approximately 5 million beneficiaries in Bangladesh, but as the initiative evolved, a significant portion of the planned allocation expanded into multiple countries while retaining the name Operation Bangladesh to honor its origins.
Morad Shaker, founder and president of Operation Bangladesh, described this expansion as a defining milestone.
