Noble Mineral Exploration Inc. (TSX-V:NOB, FRANKFURT: NB7, OTCQB:NLPXF) has announced the launch of Phase 2 of its 2026 summer exploration season, focusing on rare earth element (REE) properties in Quebec and Labrador. The programs are scheduled for late June and early July, utilizing helicopter support from Canadian Helicopters based in Goose Bay, Labrador.
The Chapiteau Rare Earth Property in western Labrador, acquired in late 2025, comprises 43 map-staked units covering part of a large REE-enriched alkaline intrusive system. Historical work by Midland Exploration from 2010-2011 identified numerous targets through airborne magnetic and radiometric surveys, with grab samples yielding up to 8.34% Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) and heavy rare earth enrichment (HREO) ranging from 2.29% to 12.85%. Notable results from the property include six grab samples exceeding 0.5% TREO, with values from 1.4% to 3.02% TREO. The only known drill hole, Y3-11-04, returned anomalous REE values averaging 0.14% TREO + Y2O3, indicating a large mineralized system. The property's proximity to the Strange Lake and Crater Lake deposits underscores its potential.
The Mehmet Rare Earth Property in northeastern Quebec is an early-stage hyperalkaline rare-metals showing, known for hosting REEs, niobium, zirconium, and other critical minerals. One sample from the property contained 2157.1 ppm total rare earth elements, including 550 ppm neodymium, 623 ppm lanthanum, and 1027.3 ppm cerium. Such systems are vital for supplying materials used in electric vehicles, wind turbines, permanent magnets, and defense technologies.
H Vance White, President & CEO of Noble, stated, "We are pleased to get this program underway in order to determine the expected follow-up programs later this summer and early fall."
