New Horizon Medical Solutions Partners with Soring to Distribute Ultrasonic Wound Debridement Device

New Horizon Medical Solutions (NHMS), a leader in advanced wound care technologies, announced a new strategic collaboration with Soring, the U.S. affiliate of Söring (Germany), for the sale of Söring's Ultrasonic-Assisted Wound (UAW) debridement system. The partnership aims to enhance wound treatment across various medical settings by integrating the ultrasonic device with NHMS's portfolio of biologically derived human placental allograft products.

The Söring UAW system includes an ultrasonic generator and instrument designed for debridement and cleansing of chronic and acute wounds. It can remove fibrin tissues such as necroses, fibrin, scab, and pus, and break up biofilms. The system improves wound status and promotes healing in conditions like diabetic foot syndrome, decubitus ulcers, burns, post-surgical wounds, and post-traumatic wounds.

Jeffrey Alan Niezgoda, MD, FACHM, MAPWCA, CHWS, Chief Medical Officer of Kent Imaging and board member of NHMS, stated, "The use of SONOCA 185 and the UAW instruments for Ultrasonic Wound Debridement guided by SnapshotGLO and monitored by SnapshotNIR, can significantly improve wound management and lead to better patient outcomes. These devices synergistically optimize wound bed preparation prior to CAMPs application."

Will Hall, CEO of New Horizon Medical Solutions, added, "This collaboration reflects our belief that the future of wound care lies in combining advanced technology with evidence-based clinical solutions. By bringing Söring's ultrasonic system into our portfolio, we're expanding access to innovative tools that address critical gaps in treatment while improving efficiency and outcomes across care settings."

The collaboration underscores NHMS's commitment to advancing wound care through technology. NHMS's product portfolio includes amniotic membranes, placental tissues, and skin grafts for chronic wounds, surgical reconstruction, burns, and orthopedic procedures. Söring, founded in 1985 and headquartered in Germany, specializes in ultrasonic tissue resection and ablation, focusing on intuitive user experience and direct service.
