Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP; OTCQB: NOPFF) has reported that heavy metal contaminant assays from the Upper Phosphatic Zone at its Murdock Mountain project remain well below the maximum limits cited for organic fertilizer certification. The results come from drill hole MM26-10, a 1.5-kilometre step-out along strike, which previously returned 10.89% P2O5 over 3.60 metres.

The company stated that individual samples from the interval showed arsenic, cadmium, mercury, lead, and other heavy metal concentrations below the thresholds set by the Association of American Plant Food Control Officials (AAPFCO) SUIP #25 for fertilizer containing 10% P2O5. This consistent low heavy metal content is critical for positioning the project to supply the organic fertilizer market, which has stringent purity requirements.

These findings are significant because they validate the company's resource potential. Murdock Mountain hosts a 6.6-kilometre-long organic sedimentary rock phosphate bed, with additional applications extending the potential strike to over 30 kilometres. This is believed to be the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America, and its proximity to major transportation routes, including a highway to Montello/Elko, Nevada, and a rail head to California, enhances its development prospects.
