Meridian Holdings Inc. Begins Trading Under New Ticker MRDN After Rebranding and Reverse Stock Split

Meridian Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: MRDN), an international developer, licensor, and global operator of online gaming and ecommerce platforms, announced the commencement of trading of its common stock under its new ticker symbol "MRDN" as of market open on March 3, 2026. The change follows the company's rebranding from Golden Matrix Group, Inc., and a 1-for-12 reverse stock split that took effect simultaneously.

The reverse stock split consolidated every twelve shares of common stock into one new share, reducing the number of issued and outstanding shares from approximately 151.7 million to about 12.6 million. Additionally, the number of authorized shares of common stock was reduced from 300 million to 25 million. No fractional shares were issued; stockholders entitled to fractional shares will receive cash in lieu thereof based on the closing price on the trading day immediately prior to the effective time, as reported on the Nasdaq Capital Market. The reverse split was approved by the board of directors without stockholder approval, pursuant to Nevada law.

Additional details regarding the name change and reverse stock split are available in the company's Current Report on Form 8-K filed today with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The new CUSIP number for the shares is 381098409.
