MAX Power Mining Prepares Lawson 5 Step-Out to Test Scale of Natural Hydrogen Genesis Trend

MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) is preparing to mobilize Savanna Drill Rig #629 and crew for Lawson 5, the largest step-out to date from its Lawson Complex Natural Hydrogen Discovery. The well will target an area approximately 27 to 31 km northeast of Lawson 1 through Lawson 4, and is designed to test the scale potential of the broader Genesis Trend both across a 30-km mobile belt and along the 475-km Salt Wall extending toward the North Dakota border.

The move marks a significant expansion of MAX Power's exploration efforts in Saskatchewan, where the company has built dominant district-scale land positions covering approximately 1.3 million acres (521,000 hectares) of permits prospective for large-volume accumulations of natural hydrogen. The Lawson Discovery near Central Butte is Canada's first-ever subsurface natural hydrogen system confirmed through deep drilling, with data validated by three independent labs.

MAX Power said Lawson 4 has been successfully cased and cemented after encountering the highest natural hydrogen readings to date at Lawson, along with a thick basal Cambrian reservoir featuring high permeability and porosity. These results provide strong encouragement for the step-out well, which aims to demonstrate the lateral continuity and commercial potential of the resource. The company is also planning near-term completions programs at Lawson and Bracken, where independent evaluation identified multiple prospective natural hydrogen and helium zones.

Data from the expanded drilling and completions programs will feed MAXX LEMI, the company's AI-assisted proprietary platform. By integrating real-time drilling data with advanced analytics, MAX Power aims to accelerate its understanding of the Genesis Trend and optimize future exploration targets. This technology-driven approach could enhance efficiency and reduce risk as the company scales up its natural hydrogen operations.

The implications of this announcement are substantial for the emerging natural hydrogen sector. If the Genesis Trend proves to be as extensive as MAX Power's data suggest, it could represent a major new source of clean energy, potentially transforming the energy landscape in North America and beyond. Natural hydrogen, generated through geological processes, offers a zero-carbon alternative to fossil fuels and could play a critical role in the global transition to decarbonization. MAX Power's progress at Lawson and its planned step-out well are being closely watched by investors and industry experts as a bellwether for the commercial viability of natural hydrogen.

MAX Power is an innovative mineral and energy exploration company focused on the shift to decarbonization. In addition to its Saskatchewan hydrogen assets, the company holds a portfolio of properties in the United States and Canada focused on critical minerals, highlighted by a 2024 diamond drilling discovery at the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in southeast Arizona, 100%-owned by MAX Power's U.S. subsidiary. MAX Power is committed to responsible exploration and development practices that prioritize environmental stewardship, meaningful community engagement, and strong corporate governance.
