Makailah Fuentes, a licensed cosmetologist and certified lash artist, has opened Maks Glamm within the Salon and Spa Galleria Weatherford in Weatherford, Texas. The salon, which began accepting appointments in September 2026, represents Fuentes' transition from graduate to business owner after earning her credentials from Cisco College in May 2025. "I love being creative and making people feel beautiful and confident," Fuentes said. "This truly is a creative outlet for me."
Maks Glamm offers a comprehensive menu of beauty services, including shampoo, blowdry, haircut and style; color; full and partial highlights; balayage; toner; and root touchup. Nail services feature GelX nails, while lash services cater to various preferences. Braiding options include French and Dutch braids, with beads or charms available. Clients can also enhance their look with tinsel, feathers, and color extensions. For special events, Fuentes provides customized packages for birthday parties, princess parties, slumber parties, bridal parties, weddings, girls' day out, team celebrations, and bachelorette parties.
