Designed to address the common struggle of keeping babies swaddled through the night, the wrap is now available on the company's websites and has been named a finalist for the Baby Safety Award of Excellence by the Baby Safety Alliance.
Angel Kho, co-founder of Loulou Lollipop, developed the swaddle wrap out of personal necessity. As a new mother, she faced nightly battles with traditional swaddle blankets that her daughter could easily escape, leading to disrupted sleep for both of them. "She always managed to wiggle one arm out — even through the zipper opening — and she'd wake herself up in the middle of the night," Kho recalled. "I even tried elastic bands around the shoulders just to keep her arms in. Looking back, it's almost comical. At the time, I was completely exhausted."
The Big Dreams Swaddle Wrap features a soft, silent, and secure closure that wraps around the baby's torso, providing gentle tension and a womb-like comfort while allowing the legs to move freely like a traditional sleep bag. This design meets the needs of newborns and extends the Big Dreams collection, which already includes the Sleep Bag that won a 2025 Good Housekeeping Parenting Award, back to the newborn stage. The wrap is available in three popular prints and is made from TENCEL™ Lyocell fabric, a breathable material spun from wood pulp that helps regulate body temperature for babies who cannot yet do so themselves. The insulation blends 30% TENCEL™ Lyocell with 70% DuPont™ Sorona®, a fiber that replaces part of conventional polyester with plant-based content derived from corn (37%). Additionally, the swaddle wrap is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, ensuring every component has been tested for harmful substances.
The Swaddle Wrap has been named a finalist for the Baby Safety Award of Excellence from the Baby Safety Alliance, with the winner determined by public vote.
