LiverRight and Aegle Medical Solutions, LLC have announced a strategic partnership aimed at expanding access to non-invasive liver assessment, specialist interpretation, diagnosis, and ongoing care for patients across the United States. The collaboration brings together Aegle Medical's advanced liver assessment technology and LiverRight's national virtual liver clinic, creating a more connected pathway from liver disease identification to longitudinal management.
The partnership addresses a critical gap in liver care: many adults in the U.S. live with undiagnosed liver disease, and access to hepatology specialists can be limited, particularly in certain communities. By combining Aegle Medical's technology solutions—including the Mindray Hepatus-Series Transient Elastography Diagnostic Ultrasound Systems—with LiverRight's telemedicine network, the two organizations aim to make it easier for physicians and healthcare organizations to establish or expand comprehensive liver disease programs without building every component internally.
Aegle Medical provides a consultative approach to technology evaluation, implementation, clinical training, and ongoing customer support. LiverRight offers same-day interpretation services for liver elastography studies and same-week virtual access to its hepatology clinicians. Its Liververse™ referral system coordinates bloodwork, patient-reported outcomes, imaging, diagnosis, and longitudinal disease management.
For patients, the combined model is designed to bring advanced liver assessment closer to the communities where they already receive care while improving access to liver specialists. The goal is to create a more efficient pathway from identifying at-risk patients to non-invasive assessment, specialist review, diagnosis, and appropriate ongoing care.

The partnership also highlights the Mindray Hepatus platform, which introduces Visualized Transient Elastography (ViTE), a next-generation breakthrough that integrates real-time B-mode ultrasound visualization directly into the elastography examination. Unlike conventional transient elastography platforms that rely primarily on measurement data without real-time anatomical visualization, ViTE enables operators to see liver anatomy, identify the optimal measurement location, and visually guide each acquisition while obtaining quantitative liver stiffness and attenuation measurements. The Hepatus platform provides liver stiffness measurement (LSM) for fibrosis assessment and Liver UltraSound Attenuation (LiSA) for quantitative assessment of hepatic steatosis.
The Hepatus 6 further expands the platform by combining these capabilities with diagnostic ultrasound imaging, allowing clinicians to utilize the system for abdominal imaging, Doppler, spleen stiffness assessment, and intestinal ultrasound, depending on configuration. This versatility supports a broader range of hepatology and gastroenterology applications.
