LIMES Schlosskliniken AG, a German operator of private clinics for mental health, took a significant step in its international expansion on June 17, 2026, by signing a notarized preliminary agreement in Florence to acquire the operating company of the "Villa Boccella" estate in Lucca, Tuscany. The renovated, luxurious historic estate spans 14 hectares and comprises eight buildings, including six villas with four swimming pools. LIMES Schlosskliniken has secured an option to purchase the property, with the opening planned for early summer 2027, subject to the granting of a clinic license by Italian authorities.
This new facility is designed to bridge the gap between Paracelsus Recovery in Zurich and the LIMES locations in Germany, offering a unique environment for holistic recovery.
