Interlock Aluminum Wall Cladding Debuts in Whistler Custom Homes

Interlock Roofing Ltd. has introduced metal siding and wall cladding panels, extending its lifetime aluminum system from roofs to exterior walls. The new Interlock Metal Siding is now available for installation in custom homes in Whistler, British Columbia, and across the United States and Canada.

Produced from the same heavy-gauge aluminum as Interlock's roofing products, the siding panels feature the Alunar Coating System and come in identical profiles, colors, and trims. This allows homeowners to achieve a single color-matched aluminum finish for the entire exterior, including roofs, chimneys, dormers, gables, and walls. By using one material system, compatibility issues between different manufacturers' products are eliminated, and installation and warranty coverage are simplified.

“Homeowners already trust our aluminum roofing to protect their home for a lifetime,” said Scott Plumptree, Director of Marketing at Interlock Roofing Ltd. “Extending that same panel, coating, and color system to siding means the entire exterior performs to one standard and reads as one intentional design.”

Interlock offers four architectural profiles: Slate, Cedar Shingle, Shake, and Standing Seam, which can be combined within a single color family. The panels are finished with the Alunar Coating System, which incorporates Cool Roof infrared-reflective pigments to reduce solar heat gain on walls. The non-combustible aluminum construction carries a Class A fire rating, a critical feature for properties in wildfire-prone areas.

Because aluminum does not absorb moisture, the panels resist rot, warping, and cracking through freeze-thaw cycles. The factory-baked finish resists chalking and fading, eliminating the need for repainting. The system also resists insects and coastal salt-air corrosion. The four-way interlocking panels install over most existing wall substrates and require no painting, sealing, or staining over their lifespan. The aluminum is largely recycled in content and approximately 95 percent recyclable at end of life.

Interlock Metal Siding is available through certified local installers for new construction and re-cladding projects. Recent installations include custom homes in Whistler, British Columbia. For more information, visit interlockroofing.com.
