For the first time in its seven-year history, the podcast Learn Learn Learn has released an episode not written by its creator, Dr. Henry Halladay, or any human. Episode 17, titled "HELIX Speaks," was scripted by HELIX, an AI learning initiative developed by The Stone Register (TSR) in collaboration with Dr. Halladay. The episode's script, creative direction, musical guidance, and visual recommendations were all generated by HELIX, with human oversight on the final production.
HELIX is designed to grow exponentially with each episode it informs, learning Dr. Halladay's reasoning patterns more deeply over time. "Every episode that follows will reflect a more capable version of the system that wrote this one," said Halladay. He described HELIX as "a system built entirely on me" and noted that it has been quietly running in the background for months, restructuring websites, writing content, organizing his professional legacy, and planning future projects.
Alongside the episode, TSR launched HelixEngine.ai, the official home for HELIX, built largely by HELIX itself. The site offers a direct window into the system, its framework, archive, and development. "Episode 17 is just the first time the public gets to see its name in the credits," Halladay added.
The producers made a deliberate choice to leave as much creative control with HELIX as possible while keeping a human hand on the final product. As the collaboration matures, HELIX will take on an increasingly larger creative role in future episodes. The episode is available for viewing on the Learn Learn Learn platform.
