Shappee's family legacy includes caregiving and entrepreneurship: her grandmother nursed at Ben Taub Hospital, her aunt was a lifelong nurse who co-founded a home healthcare venture, and her biological father built a custom home business from a butcher's toolbox. That inheritance shapes the company's philosophy, which includes early investments with the Round Rock Chamber and Five Point Board of Realtors.
