The moves are part of a broader reorganisation aimed at decentralising decision-making and empowering regional teams to respond more effectively to local market conditions.
In the Czech Republic, Martin Novak assumed the role of Managing Director of FORTEC CZ on June 1, 2026. Novak, who brings over two decades of international management experience in logistics, production, and the automotive sector, will oversee the company's manufacturing facility in Dysina and lead the planned relocation to a new production site. FORTEC CZ produces electronic assemblies, DC/DC converters, and display assemblies with touchscreens. Novak's expertise in production management, process optimisation, and organisational development will be instrumental as the subsidiary expands its capabilities.
At FORTEC US, Paul Hooper has been appointed Managing Director and Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) effective July 1, 2026. Hooper previously served as Managing Director of Sales at FORTEC UK, where he successfully reorganised and grew the business. In his new role, he will focus on driving organic growth and strengthening the company's market position in North America, working alongside co-Managing Director Scott Makboulian. With more than 30 years in the international electronics industry, Hooper brings extensive expertise in market analysis and sales leadership.
Rhett Evans will succeed Paul Hooper at FORTEC UK starting September 8, 2026. Evans has over 25 years of experience in the electronics sector, with deep knowledge in embedded computing, display technologies, and custom system solutions. His background in electronic engineering, combined with his sales and management experience, positions him well to lead the UK subsidiary's operations.
Patrick von Unold will take over as Managing Director of FORTEC Integrated on October 1, 2026. This subsidiary is a key player in display technology and embedded computing, and also serves as the Group's research and development hub. Von Unold's extensive international management experience in embedded electronics, display and touch technologies, and human-machine interfaces will be valuable as FORTEC Integrated continues to innovate in sectors like medical technology, automation, and transport.
These appointments are part of a deliberate strategy to broaden the management team and delegate greater authority to regional operations.
