The Church of Scientology of the Valley's auditorium transformed into a roaring soccer arena as 275 members of the local Bangladeshi community gathered for a lively watch party for the final FIFA match, hosted by The Sport Lovers Bangladeshi Community of LA.
The atmosphere in the auditorium was electric from the start. Attendees arrived dressed in their favorite national team jerseys, proudly displaying their passion for the sport. The venue's massive screen and high-definition setup gave fans a stadium-like experience, capturing every dramatic move in vivid detail.
Beyond the excitement on screen, the event was a warm celebration of culture and community. Guests were treated to traditional Bangladeshi food and spiced tea (cha), giving families and friends a taste of home while they cheered alongside fellow soccer enthusiasts.
During the event, organizers acknowledged all of their hardworking volunteers who organized the event on stage, some of whom also serve as board members of different Bangladeshi organizations.
"Soccer has a unique way of bringing people together regardless of background, but seeing our Bangladeshi community come together under one roof with so much energy was truly special," said one attendee. "The hospitality, the big screen, the food—it felt like a stadium back home."
