Escriba Articles Library Marks 10 Years in Literary Arts, Launches Sci-Fi Short Story for Black History Month

Escriba Articles Library, a literary arts internet company, is celebrating its tenth anniversary this Black History Month by expanding its offerings to include a science fiction fantasy short story and plans for children's songs and self-published books. The company, founded by Liam M. West, aims to provide mentorship and support to children and teenagers through literature and music, addressing a decline in educational television programming.

According to the company, founder Liam M. West began developing a structured plan to mentor youth after observing a drop in educational shows for children. Citing a report by Kayla Cobb of Yahoo Entertainment News, Nickelodeon ratings plummeted by 86% from 2016 to 2023. West, a member of the Ohio Writers' Association, has written a children's song called "If You're Sick Eat Watermelon" and a book titled "Positive Relationships: Be the Best."

Escriba Articles Library has published its first science fiction fantasy short story, "The Green Locket: Essence of Destiny," via Amazon Kindle Direct. The story follows a young woman from a distant galaxy on a journey involving love, war, and magic. The company's mission is to craft literary arts that elevate the spirit and develop the soul.

West plans to establish an online specialty library bookstore, release 19 children's songs with storylines on digital music platforms like Apple Music and Spotify, and publish 10 self-published books on databases such as Barnes & Noble. The online specialty library bookstore can be accessed at https://tinyurl.com/ESAL-YouTube-Children-Channel and also via https://poshmark.com/closet/escribaalibrary.

West stated, "I take pride in my work, and definitely humble myself. But I enjoy giving hope to those that need a helping hand." The company's motto is "A new thought empowers a change for our future."

This expansion comes as Escriba Articles Library celebrates a decade in the literary arts, with West having started his writing career at the elementary school level and winning awards including the Occupational Award of Leadership from the state of Georgia. The company hopes its marketing campaign on multiple platforms will pave the way for more insights in the media industry.
