Elrod Pope Accident & Injury Attorneys, a personal injury law firm serving clients throughout South Carolina and North Carolina, has announced the opening of applications for its 2026 Elrod Pope Legacy Scholarship program. The initiative will award two deserving students from the Carolinas with academic scholarships of $5,000 each, totaling $10,000 in financial assistance.
The scholarship is named after Luke Elrod and Jack Leader, whose integrity, dedication to the law, and community service continue to inspire the firm. By awarding these scholarships, the firm aims to inspire the next generation to pursue careers rooted in excellence, service, and purpose, ensuring that the founders' legacy endures.
To be eligible, students must be residents of South Carolina or North Carolina, complete the application form, and submit a minimum 1,000-word essay on the issue of drunk driving among young adults. The law firm is seeking thoughtful, well-researched ideas that offer fresh perspectives on the dangers of drinking and driving. Complete information about the scholarship, including terms and conditions, is available on the law firm's website.
Only one application per student is permitted. Students must comply with all program terms and conditions and submit their applications by March 1, 2026. The firm will announce the scholarship winners on April 1, 2026.
