Elmos Semiconductor Completes Supervisory Board Transition with New Elections

Elmos Semiconductor SE (FSE: ELG) announced today that its Extraordinary General Meeting, held virtually, resulted in a significant overhaul of its Supervisory Board. With over 82% of the voting share capital represented, shareholders approved all agenda items, including the election of Dr. Hans Diekmann and Dr. Christian Klaiber to the Supervisory Board, effective January 1, 2027. These appointments fill the vacancies left by Prof. Dr. Gunter Zimmer and Dr. Klaus Weyer, who are stepping down at the end of the year, thus completing the generational transition initiated in February 2026.

The elections are part of a broader strategic move to ensure leadership continuity. In addition to the immediate appointments, shareholders also elected Tobias Weyer, Guido Meyer, Dr. Hans Diekmann, and Dr. Christian Klaiber as shareholder representatives for the new term beginning in May 2027, with Philipp Halbach as an alternate member. This early election provides Elmos with planning certainty and stability for the future direction of the company.

Dr. Hans Diekmann, a partner at the international law firm A&O Shearman in Dusseldorf, brings extensive expertise in corporate and capital markets law as well as corporate governance. Dr. Christian Klaiber, managing director of a single-family office and institute manager at the Friedrichshafen Institute for Family Businesses at Zeppelin University, also serves as a lecturer at the Technical University of Munich. His background includes leadership roles in the automotive industry and deep knowledge in finance and sustainable corporate development.

The Extraordinary General Meeting also approved the 2026 remuneration system for the Management Board, which was revised to align with the company's strategic objectives and incorporate feedback from investors and proxy advisors regarding market practices and corporate governance.

This leadership transition comes at a pivotal time for Elmos, which specializes in analog mixed-signal ICs for the automotive sector. The company's products support driver assistance systems, intelligent sensors, efficient motors, and LED lighting, contributing to megatrends like autonomous driving, electromobility, and software-defined vehicles. The new board members' expertise is expected to guide Elmos through these technological shifts and strengthen its market position.

Elmos Semiconductor has been developing microchip solutions for over 40 years, primarily for automotive applications. As a fabless company, it focuses on innovation and reliability, aiming to make mobility safer, more comfortable, and more efficient. The company's strategic decisions, including this board transition, are crucial for maintaining its leadership in cutting-edge applications and addressing the evolving demands of the automotive industry.
