Element Academy: A Fresh Fantasy Debut Empowers Middle-Grade Readers with Elemental Magic and Coming-of-Age Depth

Element Academy, a new middle-grade fantasy novel co-authored by Adhvita Nagalla and Tashvi Kolla, is now available on Amazon, introducing young readers to a world where elemental magic meets the challenges of growing up. The story follows eleven-year-old Amaya Abigail Ravin, a sixth-grader in Farmington Hills, Michigan, who feels trapped under constant surveillance—tracking devices in her backpack, a technology-saturated home, and the strict environment of Evergreen Academy. But Amaya soon discovers she is connected to ancient elemental forces, leading her to the hidden Element Academy, where students train to command Nature, Water, Fire, Air, and Ice. Rooted in a prophecy from the land of Golden Harmony, where gods once fought back the Dark Elemental Powers, Amaya must uncover family secrets, build friendships, and embrace a destiny that could restore balance.

The novel, which includes 24 chapters, a mythic prologue, and an epilogue hinting at future adventures, is designed to appeal to both reluctant readers and devoted fantasy fans. Nagalla, the creative originator who has nurtured the vision since third grade, and Kolla, an aspiring attorney, aim to empower young readers through storytelling. The book is independently published and available at https://a.co/d/095h8UIg. With its original elemental mythology and emotionally grounded characters, Element Academy offers a fresh voice in youth literature, emphasizing themes of self-discovery, courage, and the power of connection.

The authors, both based in Texas, bring diverse backgrounds to the project. Nagalla, originally from Michigan, draws on her passion for visual arts and humanities, while Kolla, a Texas native, hopes to inspire creativity and thoughtfulness in young people. Their collaboration results in a debut novel that stands out in the middle-grade fantasy genre, providing a positive, life-affirming message for readers navigating their own journeys.
