On Tuesday evening, the East Hollywood community came together at the Church of Scientology Los Angeles to celebrate National Night Out, an annual nationwide initiative aimed at fostering stronger neighborhood relationships and enhancing public safety awareness. The event was part of a broader campaign supported by approximately 16,000 communities across the United States, designed to encourage community engagement and build trust between residents and first responders.

Young attendees enjoyed carnival games, a bouncy house, face painting, popcorn, cotton candy, and a water slide, while families had the opportunity to mingle with neighbors and strengthen community ties. The festivities began with the singing of the National Anthem and included a special recognition of firefighters from Los Angeles Fire Department Station 35, who were presented with a Certificate of Recognition in appreciation of their dedication and service to the residents of Los Angeles.
