Debt.com to Honor Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator at 2026 FinTalk Awards

Debt.com is set to announce the winner of the Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator category at the 2026 FinTalk Awards, an honor that underscores the growing importance of accessible financial education for the Hispanic community in the United States. The award recognizes creators who use digital platforms to help Hispanics better understand saving, investing, debt management, and financial planning. Public voting remains open through October 9, with participants allowed up to three votes per day.

The five nominees for the Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator award are María Mercedes Velasquez (@soymmvelasquez), a certified public accountant who helps women over 40 take control of their finances; Daniela Salazar (@neurodany), known as NeuroDany, an author and educator on investing and personal finance; Alex / MoneyAcción (@moneyaccion), who uses humor to explain financial topics; Elizabeth Inciarte (@mamaperonoaburrida), a mother and creator showing that investing is possible without being a millionaire; and Xavier Serbia (@xavierserbia), a veteran communicator with over two decades of experience simplifying complex economic concepts for Hispanic audiences.

These creators represent a new wave of financial educators who are breaking down barriers and making money management more approachable. Their work is particularly crucial for the Hispanic community, where language and cultural relevance can significantly impact financial decision-making. By providing clear, trustworthy information in Spanish, they empower individuals to build stronger financial futures.

“For millions of Hispanics in the United States, having access to clear and trustworthy financial education in Spanish can make a real difference in how they manage their money and build their financial future,” said Don Silvestri, President of Debt.com. “We are excited to see a new generation of creators using digital platforms to break down barriers, simplify complex topics, and empower our community to make better financial decisions.”

The FinTalk Awards have previously recognized prominent Hispanic financial educators, with Rey Martínez winning in 2025 and Juan Sánchez in 2024. This year’s winner will be announced on October 9, following the close of voting. Consumers can learn more about the nominees and cast their votes on the official Spanish-language 2026 FinTalk Awards page.

The recognition comes at a time when financial literacy is increasingly vital, especially for underserved communities. Debt.com, through initiatives like the FinTalk Awards, continues to support efforts that help consumers be prepared “when life happens.” The awards not only celebrate individual creators but also highlight the broader need for inclusive financial education that resonates with diverse audiences.
