Datavault AI Names Dwight Gooden NILX Brand Ambassador Ahead of Platform Launch

Datavault AI Inc. (NASDAQ: DVLT) has announced that former Major League Baseball pitcher Dwight “Doc” Gooden has signed as a brand ambassador for Datavault NILX, the company’s name, image and likeness (NIL) exchange platform. Under the agreement, Gooden will produce at least 10 original videos, participate in promotional activities and receive a share of revenue generated by his content, while Datavault AI will provide platform support, activity tracking, attribution and payment administration.

The company said NILX is designed to enable athletes and other public figures to monetize and maintain an ongoing stake in the value generated by their name, image and likeness through measurable and auditable engagement. Gooden joins the platform ahead of its commercial launch as Datavault AI continues expanding its portfolio of specialized data exchange platforms and expects to announce additional ambassador and content agreements.

This announcement marks a significant step for Datavault AI as it leverages its technology to bridge the gap between traditional sports endorsements and the evolving digital economy. The NILX platform is part of the company’s Data Science division, which focuses on experiential data perception, valuation and secure monetization using Web 3.0 and high-performance computing. By allowing athletes to retain a stake in the value they create, the platform aims to provide a more equitable revenue-sharing model compared to traditional one-time sponsorship deals.

Dwight Gooden, a Cy Young Award winner and World Series champion, is a recognizable figure in sports, and his involvement is expected to attract other athletes to the platform. The agreement underscores the growing trend of former athletes leveraging their personal brands through digital content creation. For Datavault AI, this partnership serves as a proof of concept for NILX, which is set to launch commercially later this year.

Datavault AI’s broader technology suite includes the Information Data Exchange, which enables Digital Twins and the licensing of name, image and likeness by securely attaching physical real-world objects to immutable metadata. This approach fosters responsible AI with integrity, the company said. The platform is fully customizable and offers AI- and machine-learning-based automation, third-party integration, detailed analytics and data, marketing automation and advertising monitoring.

In addition to its Data Science division, Datavault AI’s Acoustic Sciences division features WiSA, ADIO and Sumerian patented technologies for wireless high-definition sound transmission. The company serves multiple industries including sports and entertainment, events and venues, biotech, education, fintech, real estate, healthcare, and energy.
