CHARBONE CORPORATION (TSXV: CH; OTCQB: CHHYF; FSE: K47) has unveiled its 2026-2030 strategic plan, marking a pivotal transformation from a clean Ultra High Purity (UHP) hydrogen producer into an integrated, global industrial gas group. The plan, announced today, outlines a structured expansion into UHP gases, specialty gases, and industrial atmospheric gases to strengthen recurring revenue and operational efficiency.
The Company positions itself as a premium mid-tier player, more agile than major competitors and differentiated by quality, metrology, and traceability. CHARBONE aims to serve high-growth industries including semiconductors, artificial intelligence and data centers, advanced pharmaceuticals, and aerospace and defense technologies. These sectors demand impeccable quality, speed of execution, and security of supply—pillars central to CHARBONE's strategy.
Growth will be driven by a two-pillar approach in North America. Pillar A focuses on high-margin UHP and specialty gases such as UHP Hydrogen (HyChem UHP™), Helium, Electronic Gases, and Specialty Gases. Pillar B targets recurring revenue from industrial and atmospheric gases including Oxygen, Nitrogen, UHP Argon, CO2, and Industrial Blends, which will build a stable revenue base and optimize logistics. This hybrid model aims to increase commercial depth, customer loyalty, and financial resilience, with a focus on strengthening presence in the Northeast and Pacific technology corridor of the U.S.
A disciplined operating model will deploy 6 to 8 regional hubs in North America and internationally, reducing time-to-market, standardizing operations, and optimizing logistics costs. The hub-and-spoke model is a key lever for supporting growth while maintaining capital discipline. The Company's priority remains the development and commissioning of its flagship Sorel-Tracy plant in Quebec, which serves as the anchor for North American expansion.
Internationally, CHARBONE targets Germany as a strategic UHP platform in Europe and Malaysia as an Asian hub for semiconductors and electronics. Expansion will follow an asset-light approach focused on partnerships and structuring contracts.
Dave B. Gagnon, Chairman and CEO, stated: "At CHARBONE, we are not changing direction, we are expanding it with discipline. We started with one molecule: clean UHP hydrogen. Today, we are building an integrated platform of high-value industrial gases, tailored to the critical needs of the industries of the future. Our ambition is clear: to become an internationally recognized player known for quality, reliability, and speed of execution."
CHARBONE is listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV: CH), the OTC Markets (OTCQB: CHHYF), and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FSE: K47). More information is available at www.charbone.com.
