Canamera Energy Metals Corp. (CSE: EMET) (OTCQB: EMETF) (FSE: 4LF0) has identified a third rare earth target, named Linda, at its Turvolândia Ionic Clay Rare Earth Project in Brazil, based on assay results from auger hole TUV-AUG-0043. The hole intersected 14 metres of rare earth mineralization from surface to the end of the hole, which remained open at depth. It averaged 2,208.6 ppm total rare earth oxides (TREO), including 664.7 ppm magnetic rare earth oxides plus yttrium.
The discovery of Linda establishes a three-target exploration corridor across the project, with Linda located 3.3 kilometers north of the previously identified Marita target and 3.7 kilometers northwest of the Cordis target. All samples from the hole returned Chemical Index of Alteration values above 70%, averaging approximately 83%, consistent with highly weathered clay profiles associated with ionic adsorption clay-hosted rare earth deposits. This geochemical signature supports the potential for a large-scale, near-surface rare earth system.
Management is evaluating follow-up drilling programs to test mineralization continuity between the three targets and explore depth potential at Linda. The company noted that the results confirm the viability of the project as a source of rare earth elements, which are critical for various high-tech and green energy applications, including electric vehicle magnets and wind turbines. The expansion of the exploration corridor could significantly enhance the project's resource potential.
