The Canadian Salsa Festivals Project (CSFP) has announced its most extensive season to date, running from June through September 2026. The lineup includes a new event, Salsa at Niagara Falls, marking the festival's first foray into one of Canada's premier tourist destinations. The expansion underscores the growing popularity of Latin culture and its economic benefits for host communities.
Salsa at Niagara Falls, scheduled for September 12 and 13, is produced in partnership with Niagara Falls Tourism, Niagara Parks Commission, and Fallsview Casino Resort. Adam Stiles, Interim President and CEO of Niagara Falls Tourism, stated, "Salsa at Niagara Falls is exactly the kind of vibrant, world-class event our destination is made for… we know its energy will ripple through our community and activate Niagara Falls collectively." The event aims to attract visitors and boost local tourism during the fall season.
The season also benefits from expanded support from TD Bank Group, which has renewed its title sponsorship of TD Salsa on St. Clair in Toronto and TD Salsa at Blue Mountain in Collingwood, and now also sponsors Salsa Tremblant in Quebec. Robyn Small, Senior Manager of Philanthropy at TD Bank Group, noted, "Festivals like TD Salsa on St. Clair bring people together to celebrate what shapes us — our stories, food, music, and art."
Returning favorites include TD Salsa at Blue Mountain (June 26–28), which Patti Kendall, President of Blue Mountain Village Association, called "a highly anticipated event that brings vibrant Latin energy to the Village, kicking off our summer festival season." TD Salsa on St. Clair (July 11–12) remains Canada's largest free Latin street festival, featuring over 350 live performers, headliners like JUNO nominee Andy Rubal and award-winning artist Yani Borrell, a Fiesta Parade, and more than 35 authentic Latin food vendors. TD Salsa Tremblant (August 21–23) returns for its third year, transforming the Tremblant Pedestrian Village into a hub of Latin music and dance.
Additional programs include the Vibrante Latin Art Exhibition at Toronto's Little EGG Gallery, free dance lessons across Southern Ontario, Salsa on Market Street on August 9, and family salsa dance lessons at Toronto museums. The CSFP, founded by TLN Media Group, continues to champion Latin culture as a source of community connection and economic vitality. Aldo Di Felice, President of TLN Media Group, remarked, "Salsa in Toronto has become one of Canada's premier cultural celebrations, bringing together hundreds of thousands of people each year."
