At CEDIA Expo 2026, BZBGEAR is set to debut its REEVE™ control system and an expanded residential product lineup, addressing a long-standing pain point for custom integrators: the complexity of controlling disparate systems in a home. REEVE™ consolidates video, audio, climate, cameras, and other connected devices into a single, zone-based interface that runs on a wall-mounted tablet, eliminating the need for a separate rack or server PC.
The system is built around three components: REEVE™ Studio, a design tool for integrators; REEVE™ Player, the client-facing interface; and REEVE™ Cloud, which manages configuration and remote support. Notably, REEVE™ operates locally on the tablet, so control continues even without internet, with cloud synchronization occurring when connectivity returns. This architecture reduces hardware costs and simplifies installations, as the tablet itself acts as the controller.
REEVE™ is designed to work with existing gear, including displays from major brands like Samsung, LG, Sony, and Vizio, as well as streaming devices from Chromecast, Apple TV, and Roku. It also supports climate systems, professional audio, cameras, lighting, and motorized shades. The software is included with compatible BZBGEAR products, with no license or activation fees, though the tablet is sold separately.
Alongside REEVE™, BZBGEAR is showcasing its residential AV lineup, starting with the XLink-ONE AV-over-IP series. The BG-IPGEAR-XTREME is a cost-effective multicast transceiver over 1GbE with USB 3.1 for KVM, while the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-PRO supports 48Gbps HDMI 2.1, 4K120, and transmission up to 170 meters, making it suitable for larger properties. These endpoints can be purchased individually, allowing integrators to scale systems as needed.
The AIR4KAST wireless HDMI family, which has won multiple awards, offers solutions for displays without cable paths. The BG-AIR4KAST provides 4K60 at up to 164 feet, the MKX can transmit to multiple receivers, and the PRO delivers low latency for interactive use. BZBGEAR also introduced right-sized matrix switchers, including a 4x2 at $199 and the BG-4K-VP44, which combines matrix switching, video wall processing, and multiviewing in a compact 10-inch chassis.
BZBGEAR is taking a practical stance on 8K, emphasizing that the real benefit of 48Gbps HDMI 2.1 is full 4K at 120Hz with HDR. Their 8K switchers and matrices start at $39 and $299 respectively, making 8K-ready infrastructure affordable. The company is also highlighting KVM as an underutilized category in residential integration, with models starting at $149 for 4K and $399 for 8K, addressing the growing need for managing multiple computers in home offices.
Visitors to Booth C900 can see live demonstrations of REEVE™ and the entire lineup, with daily prize drawings for HDMI cables, speakers, and the award-winning BG-AIR4KAST-MKX.
