The Biohacking Index has released its January 2026 Report, marking a significant shift to an invite-only expert model. This edition is the first to be physician-curated, reinforcing the platform's principle that credibility, not sponsorship or popularity, determines visibility in the wellness and biohacking ecosystem. The report evaluates companies based on transparency, documentation, and real-world clinical relevance, with verification optional for Premium Members.
Under the new model, the Biohacking Index operates an invite-only membership for clinicians and expert providers. Physicians are selected based on clinical experience, patient outcomes, professional reputation, and alignment with evidence-based, forward-thinking care. Invited experts can nominate wellness technologies, diagnostics, or nutraceuticals they use or recommend, and may also nominate their own solutions if they complete the full verification process. Expert members receive enhanced professional profiles, SEO and large language model training benefits, and lead generation capabilities. However, nomination does not guarantee inclusion; verification remains optional, but credibility is the standard.
The January 2026 report includes verified companies such as Da Vinci Medical, a manufacturer of advanced recovery and wellness technologies including the SUPERHUMAN Protocol; Lumati, a light-based wellness technology company; and Truista Coffee, a functional coffee company emphasizing contaminant transparency and third-party lab testing. Each company met the Biohacking Index standards for transparency, documentation, and practitioner relevance.
Physician curation is led by Dr. Lipman, founder of Physical Evidence Chiropractic in Boca Raton, Florida. Known for integrating advanced diagnostics, regenerative therapies, and recovery technologies, Dr. Lipman has over 100 five-star patient reviews and was recognized as a Top 10 Provider in the 2025 Biohacking Index Report. His nominations reflect tools used in active clinical practice. Several other companies were nominated but chose not to pursue verification, and their nominations remain visible to maintain transparency around verification status.
The report signals a broader industry shift toward expert-led evaluation, voluntary verification, and clear separation between recommendation and endorsement. As stated by the Biohacking Index, being recommended is not the same as being verified, and verification remains an open door, not a requirement.
