Owner and loctician Angel Vaughan announced the grand opening, expressing her commitment to helping clients maintain healthy hair through proper education and product selection.
With 16 years of experience, Vaughan attended cosmetology school at Aladdin's Beauty Academy in Lawton, Oklahoma. Her approach focuses on teaching clients how to keep their hair in good condition, addressing common issues such as damage from improper routines. "Most of my clients have specific issues and are looking for guidance to help get their hair back on track," Vaughan said. "Right now, my focus is on educating my clients about the proper products and routines for natural, healthy hair."
One of Vaughan's specialties is the silk press, a technique that uses a blow-dryer and flat iron to straighten hair without chemical relaxers. The process involves washing, conditioning, and blow-drying, followed by straightening with a flat iron, while heat-protectant products minimize damage. The result is straight, smooth, and shiny hair with added bounce.
Angelic Visions is currently accepting new clients by appointment only. To accommodate busy schedules, Vaughan offers after-work appointments starting at 6 p.m. and is available all day on Saturday.
