Andina Copper Corporation (TSX-V: ANDC | FSE: FIR | OTCQB: PMMCF) announced continuing outstanding drill intercepts from the Cobrasco Project in Choco, Colombia. Drillhole CDH008, completed to a depth of 652.25 meters, returned 272 meters grading 0.50% copper, 75 ppm molybdenum, and 1.92 g/t silver from 52 meters downhole. This intercept includes a higher-grade interval of 152 meters at 0.67% copper, 68 ppm molybdenum, and 1.90 g/t silver from 54 meters. The results confirm the northwest extension of the Cobrasco Central Cu-Mo porphyry system, which now extends approximately 1,100 meters along strike and 550 meters laterally.
Drillhole CDH008 was drilled due north from the same platform as CDH006 and CDH007 to test the northern continuity of the shallow mineralized zone. The hole intersected a leached cap with intense supergene alteration over intermineral rhyolite porphyry, followed by a 30-meter interval containing chalcocite coating hypogene sulphides, suggesting incipient secondary copper enrichment. Strongest mineralization is associated with potassic and sericite-altered magmatic-hydrothermal breccias, with chalcopyrite occurring as matrix infill and cross-cutting veinlets. Bornite was locally observed, possibly indicating a later higher-sulphidation event.
Two additional drillholes have been completed from the same platform: CDH009 (completed, assays pending) and CDH010 (in progress). Visual logging indicates sulphide mineralization consistent with the Cobrasco Central system. These step-out holes are testing northwest and west-southwest extensions, respectively. The mineralized footprint remains open in all directions, with further expansion potential toward the NW and WSW.

The system grows with each successive drillhole, and results from CDH009 and CDH010 are expected to further extend. Surface geochemistry and field observations strongly suggest mineralization continues to the north and northwest. Preparations are being made for mobilization of a second diamond drilling rig to support definition drilling of Cobrasco Central and new porphyry centers."
