Amazon #1 Best-Selling Author Nettie Reeves Launches 'Pretty Broke' Movement to Help One Million Women Build Financial Confidence

Financial educator and entrepreneur Nettie Reeves is launching the Pretty Broke Movement, a national financial empowerment initiative with the goal of helping one million women transition from financial uncertainty to confidence. The movement is inspired by her chapter, "Pretty Broke: The Price Women Pay To Fit In," in the Amazon #1 best-selling book Financial Trendsetters 4.

Reeves highlights a systemic issue: many women have inherited financial barriers not of their making. For generations, women were encouraged to invest in appearance, care for others, and handle numerous responsibilities, often without adequate education on building wealth or securing their future. "Pretty Broke isn't about criticizing women or how they choose to spend their money," said Reeves. "It's about helping women realize they deserve to invest in their financial future with the same confidence they invest in every other part of their lives."

The movement is built on the principle that being financially "in shape" is as crucial as physical fitness. Reeves, CEO of In Shape Financial Solutions, has a background in health and wellness, earning the Steve Harvey Community Award and recognition during the Obama Administration. She now applies that same transformative approach to personal finance.

To mark the launch, an exclusive Pretty Broke Experience will be held on Saturday, August 22, at 2:00 p.m. Women, community leaders, and business professionals interested in attending can contact In Shape Financial Solutions to request an invitation.

Reeves emphasizes that every conversation about money can change a family's future, and every financially empowered woman can influence generations. The Pretty Broke Movement does not ask women to choose between looking their best and building their future—it reminds them they can have both.
