AdvantaPure, a division of NewAge Industries, Inc., has launched EcoFlex, a new sustainable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tubing designed to reduce the environmental impact of biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The product will be formally introduced on February 25, 2026, at an event hosted by the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering's Carolina–South Atlantic Chapter in Raleigh, North Carolina, in partnership with Carolina Components Group (CCG).
EcoFlex utilizes a bio-based oil in place of traditional fossil-based oil during polymer manufacturing, achieving an approximate 25% reduction in product carbon footprint compared to conventionally manufactured TPE. The tubing is sealable and weldable, available in a wide range of configurations including single-use systems and custom designs. AdvantaPure offers a comprehensive validation package to meet the stringent requirements of regulated environments.
