Accelleron, a global technology leader in turbocharging and fuel injection solutions, announced today that Ravin Pillay-Ramsamy will become President of its Service Division and a member of the Executive Committee, effective October 1, 2026. Based in Baden, Switzerland, Pillay-Ramsamy brings extensive international leadership experience from his current role as Division President Services at Sulzer, where he also serves on the Executive Committee.
The appointment is part of a leadership transition: Roland Schwarz, who currently holds the Service Division presidency, has been appointed CEO of OMT, an Accelleron company specializing in fuel injection. Klaus Heim, the incumbent CEO of OMT, will retire at the end of September 2026.
Commenting on the appointment, Accelleron CEO Daniel Bischofberger said, "We are very pleased to welcome Ravin to Accelleron. He brings extensive international leadership experience in industrial services, engineering, business development and M&A, combined with deep expertise in power generation, oil and gas, and industrial infrastructure. His proven track record in leading global service organizations will be highly valuable as we continue to strengthen our service business and create value for our customers worldwide."
Pillay-Ramsamy's career spans senior leadership positions within Sulzer's Services division across EMEA and Asia Pacific. He began his professional journey in the United States at Turbine Services Ltd., where he served as Business Development Director and Vice President Engineering. His academic credentials include a Global MBA from Columbia Business School and London Business School, a Master's degree in Management and Finance from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University.
This leadership change comes at a pivotal time for Accelleron, which is accelerating sustainability in the marine and energy industries. The company, listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange under the ticker ACLN, serves customers in more than 100 locations across over 50 countries, with more than 3,200 employees. The Service Division is critical to Accelleron's strategy, providing aftermarket support, upgrades, and digital solutions that ensure the reliability and efficiency of heavy-duty applications.
Pillay-Ramsamy's appointment underscores Accelleron's focus on strengthening its service business to drive growth and customer value. His international experience and deep understanding of industrial services are expected to be instrumental in advancing the company's mission to support the energy transition. The transition is set to be seamless, with Pillay-Ramsamy assuming his new role on October 1, 2026, and working alongside the existing leadership team in Baden.
